Boys Basketball shoes, Which are good for me?

Boys Basketball shoes, Which are good for me? I wear about a size 4.5 to a size 5 shoe. I am 14 and play boys basketball. I am a guard/wing when I play on the court. I play 2-3 quarters a game and need some good shoes to play in. My current shoes are MJ's Air Jordan XX2 PE size 5. I do not like these because they always are slippery on the court and not very comfortable. About my whole team wears Nike Boy's Closer II Basketball Shoe (White/Royal). http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/produc... I dont know if they are comfortable or what. I mainly think they have them because our colors are blue and white. Also I need to know about socks. Which are good socks? Ankle -no. Crew cut? which type? Thanks!

I was a point guard a long time ago. Spot-bilt were my favorite shoes, good traction, I wore white tube socks pushed down after my shoes were on. The reason for this was so i could wipe the bottom of my right shoe on my left sock, etc...If ur ankles are bad, buy hightops and keep them laced moderately tight.
