Why do people spend all their money on new Michael Jordan shoes that come out?

People wait in line like 5am to buy them!! And he comes out with new shoes almost every week!! I don't understand it!!?

1. Everyone has their little addiction. Besides if they want to do that let them. Your not paying for it.
2. I hate Jordans But I love Coach and Puma and Roxy!
3. I know I don't. They all look the same. I have better things to do at 5am...like sleep.
4. My boyfriend gets a new pair like every 2 weeks...He has a job and is always complaining about how it seems like he never has enough money. Nike is releasing a new pair of Ones this week and another pair in another 2 weeks. I'll be getting them of course.
5. Human beings have a desire for things (usually new) with value and that no one else has (especially children who like to shows off at each other). Jordans have plenty more value than the Payless shoes simply because his name/brand is on them. You didn't hear this first from me though.
6. like the same reason people stand in line for the video games and new $600 cell phones
7. I couldnt possibly care less about shoes
